- Production
The Ring went into production while not a
completed script. Ehren solon wrote 3 drafts of the book before Scott Frank
came on to try to tod do} an uncredited rewrite. Verbinski was at the start

VHS copy of the first Japanese film, that he describes as "intriguing",
